Apple’s latest AI tools fuel fresh innovation plans among Indian app makers: Report

If someone is using Siri and asking a question like, ‘What are the intervals of the C major chord?’, being able to surface relevant information through Siri would be great,” he said.Developers at e-signature platform Signeasy also highlighted the opportunities presented by Siri AI.

Santhosh J, head of mobile at the company, said users could eventually complete tasks such as opening documents and initiating signatures through voice commands.He added that the improved Xcode tools could significantly reduce development effort and increase productivity.Naveen TP, mobile lead at Signeasy, pointed to Apple’s private compute capabilities and foundation model enhancements as features that could improve customer experiences.Design updates under Apple’s Liquid Glass interface also drew interest from developers.Ranjith Ramanan, cofounder and designer of motorsports and wellness apps Box Box Club and GO Club, said Apple had addressed many of the concerns raised after the initial introduction of Liquid Glass.“This year, I loved to see how they fixed that entirely.

It gives the user the option to choose whether the glass should be frosted,” he said.Aman Jain, cofounder of educational app Lil Artist and word-puzzle game LetterFlow, said greater control over Liquid Glass transparency would help address user feedback around readability.Meanwhile, Arima Jain, cofounder of Lil Artist, said the latest updates could significantly expand the platform's personalisation features.She noted that the company already uses Apple’s foundation models and Image Playground tools to generate customised stories and illustrations.

The new capabilities, she said, could allow developers to incorporate images of family members into stories, making the experience more engaging for children.She also said Apple’s expanded parental controls and child safety features are likely to become an important focus area for the app.
